{"id":3569,"date":"2022-09-13T09:31:30","date_gmt":"2022-09-13T09:31:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.icom-greece.gr\/?p=3569"},"modified":"2022-09-13T09:41:17","modified_gmt":"2022-09-13T09:41:17","slug":"parthenon-and-democracy-international-meeting-16-september-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.icom-greece.gr\/en\/parthenon-and-democracy-international-meeting-16-september-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Parthenon and Democracy International Meeting, 16 September 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports and the Acropolis Museum organize an \u0399nternational \u039ceeting entitled <strong>&#8220;Parthenon and Democracy<\/strong>&#8221; on <strong>Friday 16 September 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This meeting is held on the occasion of the General Assembly of the <strong>International Association for the Reunification of the Parthenon Sculptures<\/strong> that will take place on Thursday 15 September 2022 at the Acropolis Museum. It is also organized as a reminder of the Decision reached during the UNESCO Summit in Sepember 2021, in which, besides the\u00a0legal\u00a0and ethical aspects, \u00a0the transnational\/intergovernmental character of the Greek request was acknowledged for the first time.
